Minutes of the ISC Members’ Meeting, Saturday, 8/6/05, at the Boathouse.
Commodore Erin Flowers calls the meeting to order at 1545 hours, 12 persons attending.
1. Minutes from the Mbrs’Mtg of 7/9/05 were adopted.
2. Officers’ reports:
Fleet Captain, Jana: a 1995 C-Scow is being offered as a donation to the club by persons in Davenport. The Fleet captains will check out the boat and determine it’s desirability for Club use.
3. Old Business.
A. The Treasurer’s report, due today, will be presented in the near future.
B. An order for 10 new PFDs (vest types) will be submitted by Erin when fall sale prices go into effect, about 4 weeks.
4. New Business.
Annual review of the fleet inventory and “boats for sale” list. Bill Budelier presented the information as Club members discussed and voted (unanimously in each case) on the sale or retention of various boats. The results are tabulated below:

All in all, these decisions (pending successful selling campaign) would reduce the size of ISC’s fleet to 58 vessels.
5. Announcements, etc.
A. Albatross nominations: Rich Adkins for sailing through some fishing lines and shinky bait; Todd Burzynski for interesting towing maneuvers and swamping boats; Erin Flowers for excessive modesty (having won 5 races). By decibel measurement, the coveted award goes to Rich.
B. Upcoming sailing events:
1. Next weekend, August 13, The ISC Annual Sweet-Corn Regatta; north arm sailors have been invited; races start at 1:00; sweet-corn feast follows.
2. 9/10-11 Red Rock, FJ regatta.
3. 9/24-25 Laser regatta, Okoboji.
