Become a member!

Beyond dues and a $2 boathouse key, there are no other fees for sailing --that is it! Membership includes an unlimited number of sailing days (weather permitting), lessons, racing and social activities. Membership is open to anyone. You don't have to be affiliated with the University of Iowa to take part.

How to JOIN as a new Member, RENEW your Membership, or UPDATE your information:

Choose 1 of two ways:

1. Communicate in person: Come to any Sailing Club event or meeting (Iowa Union, Wednesday evenings 7:30 during the winter; in summer, on weekends, drive out to the Boathouse (Location/Maps Calendar). Wešll sign you up, give you a Log Book, explain how the Club works, and start you sailing as soon as we can.

2. Or down-load two PDF forms: (Member Information and Waiver of Liability), print them out, fill in the information requested, and mail them back with a check for your dues.

 

We will return your personal Log Book (if thatšs appropriate) which explains how the Club works and how to get more information about Club meetings, sailing events, and lessons. Or if you are renewing or updating information, wešll enter the changes in Club records.
