What is the Iowa Sailing Team?

We are an undergraduate club sports team dedicated to the promotion of competitive sailing at the University of Iowa. We are a member of the Midwest Collegiate Sailing Association, and compete in regattas throughout the Midwest every spring and fall. The Sailing Team is an excellent opportunity for Iowa students to experience collegiate competition without the extensive commitment required for varsity sports. We offer an environment where new sailors can develop their skills and experienced sailors can hone their racing ability.

Interested in joining the team?

The Iowa Sailing Team is always looking for new students to join the team. To be eligible you only need to be a current undergraduate student of the University of Iowa. Previous sailing experience is not necessary, but is beneficial. For information on joining the team contact one of the team co-captains:
